A recent campaign has recently being released by Practice Managers highlighting what our staff have to endure on a daily basis.  Our staff are here to help you, we must ask that you treat our staff with the respect that they deserve.  We would also like to thank those patients who treat our staff with kindness and respect.

Appointments

appointment_1We offer Advanced Access Appointments Service. Appointments are made each day (except Saturday) for morning surgery for emergency appointments, please phone from 8.00am.

We endeavour to ensure that most patients are offered an appointment with a healthcare professional within 24 hours. you will be able to see the next available doctor within 48 hours.

Patients have the right to express a preference for the GP of their choice. However, while we endeavour to comply with these requests it may not always be possible. In this matter an alternative GP will offered. For same day appointments we cannot guarantee you the doctor of your choice. These appointments will be issued on a rotational basis. You will still be able to pre book with the doctor of your choice for non urgent problems.

Our Nurse Practitioner is trained to deal with minor illnesses in adults, e.g. chest infections, sore throats, cough, cold, ear ache and urine infections, she can also prescribe and refer and you will be offered an appointment with her.

Urgent Appointment:
If you require an Urgent appointment please inform the receptionists of the emergency and these are booked with the On-call Clinician of the day. 

Routine Appointments:
Are offered on the day at 8am onwards. To book an appointment please call the surgery and speak to our reception team who will be able to book you an appointment. We also offer Pre Bookable appointments that can be made in advanced if there are non on the day, however we only open a certain amount each week as to ensure we still have appointments for on the day.

For any appointments that you make you will be asked to a brief description of your symptoms from the Receptionists. It is crucial that you describe your exact issue/symptoms to our team as this will ensure that the doctor is prepared to help assist you with your issue. 

E-Consults:
E-Consults are another form of appointment and can be made using the link below. They open up at 8am and once full you will not be able to book E-Consults for the day. (webgp.com)

EXTENDED ACCESS:
There are Extended Access appointments for routine care available at the Park Surgery One Life. These are provided by Central Middlesbrough PCN and are available Monday to Friday 6.00pm till 8.00 pm and also available on a Saturday 9.00 am till 5.00 pm, if you would like to book one of these appointments please speak to the receptionists.

You can also book appointments online - however you must first register for this service, please see a member of staff who will provide you with details.

Cancellation/Re-arranging Appointments:
We understand if you can't make your appointment and we are here to assist in either a cancellation or re-arranging for another time/day that is available. Simply call the surgery 24hrs prior to your appointment (01642 242746) to do this.
